The introduction of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 requires the Scottish Borders Community Planning Partnership (CPP) to prepare and publish a Local Outcomes Improvement Plan, or known locally as “Your Community Plan”.
The Community Plan focuses on improving outcomes and reducing inequalities for the whole of the Scottish Borders. There will be five Locality Plans representing the five localities of Berwickshire, Cheviot, Eildon, Teviot & Liddesdale and Tweeddale. These Locality Plans are currently being drafted.
Please follow the links below to view the draft of the Community Plan that is now available for public consultation, and please take part in the current consultation on the plan via the survey link.
The closing date for consultations is 16th September 2017. Following these public consultations, the final outcomes will be approved at the CPP Strategic Board in November 2017.
The plan is hosted on the SBC’s website (Consultations – Your Community Plan) where both high res and low res versions of the draft are available.
Scottish Borders Health and Social Care Partnership is holding a consultation on health and social care locality plans which have been developed for Berwickshire, Cheviot, Eildon, Teviot and Liddesdale and Tweeddale. There is a plan for each of the five localities and each plan outlines the area profile of the locality, what services currently exist and what the key priorities are for improving health and social care services for each locality.
As with the ‘Your Community Plan’, the closing date for consultation is 16th September 2017. The outcome will be presented to a meeting of the Integrated Joint Board on 26th September 2017.
The plan is hosted on the SBC’s website (Consultations – Health and Social Care Locality Plans) where you can also find the summary plans for each area, as well as easy read versions of the plans.
