BAVS charity offers capacity building support to Berwickshire communities and is a partner in the borders TSI. BAVS have been through a period of renewal with new staff and new board members, and we are now seeking a dynamic, results driven individual to join our team as a Community Development Officer.
Do you have a passion for supporting communities to find solutions to their needs? The key responsibility of this role is to encourage engaged communities. Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with experience of helping communities to develop, a familiarity with the Third Sector in Berwickshire/ Scottish Borders, experience in community funding, knowledge of good governance governance and regulation. The successful applicant will work within the Berwickshire area of the Scottish Borders local authority, contributing to the outcomes of the Borders Third Sector Partnership.

The post is part-time working 28 hours per week at a starting salary of £20,233 salary for 28 hours, salary may be negotiable dependent on experience.
