Bavs has been working with Berwickshire Federation of Village Halls (BFVH) to enable the remaining Scottish Borders Council funding for the financial year 2020- 2021 to be distributed to halls struggling with loss of income due to the pandemic.
This emergency funding is to help with hall running costs, such as utilities, insurance, and minor repairs. It is not for new equipment or non-essential building work.
Priority will be given those halls that can’t access windfarm funding and are in the most financial need. Halls can apply for up to £2000 – please only apply for what you need as we aim to support as many halls as possible. Thank you.
To be considered for an emergency grant please complete the simple online application form.
Each application will be considered by the BFVH committee and you will be notified within 10 working days if your application has been successful.
